Lavvu porn

If I was in the market for a heavy pointy tent I think I would go for one of these. Occasionally used by Bertram - Nielsen a woodsman par excellence.

Love the Swedwoods channel, enjoying his current canoe trips. And sadly miss Bertram, he bought a piece of land to build a home on and his channel has dried up (his website has gone, too)

Ah! I wondered where Bertram had got to..I had hoped he was making a stock of videos to release. I wish him luck, with his axe and blacksmith skills I think he was a throw back to another age.. :D
Swedwoods is a good runner up though, his videos are worth watching.

Using the lavvu this week......or just mebbe the DD tarp, I was concerned that I was adding even more weight to the lavvu, with my alloy A frame....but those poles!!!

I've had the same internal debate, think it will be the DD though, lighter and less space in the bag. Have a good trip mate.

Precisely...although we are taking open fire utensils, so not one bag travelling.....but yes I too am thinking tarp again. I do like being under the lavvu though......... The lavvu was going on top of bag, but the sleeping bag takes a lot of internal space, as I want to use my modded LK35..........damn decisions again!!!

....and thank you....how can you not have a good time...... (expect now to find out!)

No, that would be silly?............polished the Polish poles off........arf, arf!

Anyway, have decided (smaller to pack and not often used) on the cotton F1.......and tarp. Let's see the alliteration on that!!! 🥴
