My lunch today following the Easterly winds. Mussels blown up on the shore at Elberry Cove. Onions white wine and garlic and a few minutes steaming after removing beards and a quick scrub.

I suppose I should admit that it was my neighbour Annie who made me aware of their presence. She had a bucketful and was going to find a way of freezing them. There were six lobster pots washed up as well but not a single lobster in them!
