Av tried it with supple tree bark. Made it with my son

My three boys were very enthusiastic about learning primitive skills. I used to find cordage made from toilet paper in the outhouse, & to this day one can still come across pieces of cordage along the trails in the forest from when my boys used to make it as they walked.
