I have had a Trangia for over 30 years with both meths and gas burners. I also use the meths burner occasionally in a little lightweight wood stove. I recently ordered one of the Richard stoves so I thought I would get a couple more burners. As an experiment I got a couple of aluminium Chinese burners for less than £8 for the pair. They are very light but not well made and they are smaller diameter so may not fit. Time will tell! As a back up I ordered a brass version from UK. It is excellent, it comes in a neat bag complete with pan support and I managed to get it under £10. The same item is £14 on Amazon. Attached pictures show the items.

The bottom one looks nifty dick 👍🏻 Not something I’ve used but I’m thinking about it lol , for £14 it’s probably better having it as a backup, more gear to buy 😂

Even bigger fan of the Firetrough (but only standard trangia burners seem to fit....got several cheaper ones here if someone wants them as a mm smaller in diameter and fall through...or puta skewer behind as per Saxonaxe's post)

Fire trough arrived and sure enough as lol says the cheap stoves fall through the plate. So I have made a couple of adaptors out of 3mm aluminium. Seem to work ok.

Just the ticket mate 👍🏻 I need a new fire pit as I’ve neglected my old one........so I could be tempted lol

I noted that Richard stoves do a dual burner adapter so you can run two burners of one gas tank. I managed to get one from "Wish" for £19. Tried it today and took some pictures. Also tried the adaptor for the butane canisters. All seems to work quite well. Checked it carefully for leaks and found a slightly loose joint on the one burner flexible pipe so that is going back for exchange.

I like the new metalwork pattern on the Firetrough, it lowers the burners a little? And the notches on top to stop the grill bars sliding around, which I found could be an issue...................
