Missing Hiker 80 turns up ....

His plan B worked and kept him safe, so can't fault him on that part of his tactics.
 
Good to hear that he was found safe and well.

Young or old.....extreme conditions can catch anybody out.

What a spritely gentleman for 80 years old.......looks fit as a flea and very upright.
Obviously invested in some good kit.......judging by the video.

Hope he gets himself back out there again soon.....bless him :)
 
Yeah I think he was well equipped and had planned a wild camping trip with friends , I assume he had food , shelter and a sleeping bag …..
It can be pretty wild up at Tan Hill as @Bopdude will attest …….
