Cracking start here...... lots of blue sky in between the clouds.
Torn between going out with the rifle.......or cutting the hedges.......hmmmm.
We are off to Cyprus for 10 days soon.......If I don't trim them before we go it will be a right job when we get back.......even more to cut and get rid of

The hedges won......all done..... and rubbish up the dump........so glad I did them.
Had to buy another bloody trimmer other one was knackered and dangerous.

Lord only knows,Bill. Every time I think about it, something else crops up or it's bucketing down and I'm a fair weather fisher.

Harvest day for me, it may be my last chance to get my pumpkins, eating apples, pears and climbing French beans gathered in.

I'm also collecting up firewood and moving all my empty beehives away from the garden and up to my new apiary. It's far too nice outside to waste.

Fantastic haul @Ystranc. You have no idea how chuffed I am to see pics like this. I haven't grown so much as a radish in a year so I'm gardening vicariously through everyone.
Allotment allocation day is at the end of October..#here's hoping!

Morning all, my garden is full of pheasants this morning. I think they're feeding on the waspy damaged pears that I dropped yesterday because they won't keep.

Mornin', no a bad day here either, we're still trying to plan our day, well weekend really and I do fancy nicking out for a wee overnighter although the missus has her pal coming round tonight so that means a takeaway..... hmmmm.
