morning

Its a good time to plant onion sets and garlic cloves Bam, I always get mine into the raised beds this time of year

She's put a load of garlic in the allotment, I just used some of the 'left over' stuff. She's got a couple sets of onions in to over winter too.

For the last few seasons I've always used my own garlic cloves. Onions this year Stutgarter giant

Now she's got some 'UK proof' garlic I'm sure we'll use our own. Not sure what ingin's she's using, red ones and brown ones. ;)
I did mainly red last year and shallots this year, mother in law being 90 plus and on her own doesn't need a whole onion so one good sized banana shallot is ample

A hint of frost on the dew this morning walking the dog, you don't mind though with a nice sunrise.

A touch of red to the sunrise here as well, rain expected later. I have got the roof on my new log stack, now I just need to get some walls on it and get several tons of ash cut and split over the next couple of weeks. This new stack should hold as much as all the others combined.
