For some reasons I seem to be drawn to things sharp so far but also bought some para cord but mainly because it was on offer and added up to free delivery on mu order lol

Not a bad Collection  A would second the axe :D

And I fully understand about being drawn to sharp things  also shiny things. So knifes fit the bill:D:rofl:

Fiskars universal axe X7-XS

That is the smallest Fiskars hatchet with the long handel.

around 480 g

It is ok to have it in winter times in the rucksack. A real tool but not to heavy.

A saw , especially a Silky, helps most times more, than an axe!

The gransfors bruks small forest axe

I second that, amazing piece of kit. I still have a bald patch on my arm from testing mine out the box a couple weeks back. The wildlife hatchet also has good reviews but is a little shorter.
Hultafors also make a good axe or if you are on a budget look at boot sales for a kent pattern.

Of course!
If you are on a budjet take a simple kitchen hatchet for 6 €.

If it's made straight, it will do the job too.
