I’ve been playing with this for a couple of weeks now and to be honest it’s driving me a bit spare. I had the bright idea of making a slipjoint with a rounded off but tight back spring in order to make an edc legal knife that had a very strong lock up but obviosly still being a slippy. So far it’s cost me two springs and two blades to get this far and I’ve come to the conclusion I’m probably best sticking to tried and tested designs but it works and if all else fails it’ll be a useable knife for work as well as a test bed for my HT method for stainless. Specs are G10 handle with 14c28n stainless blade and spring. The blade is 2.75 inch in length and 3mm thick theoretically hardenened 59hrc and the spring should be at approx 56hrc sorry for the grubby looking photos but I’ve already being carrying and using it for a day. If nothing else it cuts like there’s no tomorrow
