I was away last week in Budapest, arrived back at 4am Saturday, had a couple of hours kip then out with @Bopdude and a couple of mates to our local spot .

The beck was in full flow following some heavy rain so we had to bushwhack in through the woods .

A great camp trying out some new kit and a some good food and company .

Outdoor research helium bivvy ( I think I have a bivvy addiction ) and a new firebox nano stove ( more to come on that )

It’s a good spot , local , safe parking , short walk in , remote and off the beaten track once you’re there …sheltered and water source close by

..........my 70 year old brother is currently hill walking solo, above the snowline, in Snowdonia.....sent me some stunning photos.....
Very different league from my very occasional forays via East Anglian waterways.................
