As per the title this isn’t at all “outdoorsy” but it’s still a sharp so I thought it may be of interest. As I’m sure the more perceptive amongst you will note it’s a carving knife ;) It has roughly an 8.5 inch cutting edge constructed from 3mm 1075+Cr steel. The handle is Chakte Viga with a black and white juma bolster. This seems to have been a bit of a battle to finish, it’s the longest blade I've
made so trying my second flat grind possibly wasn’t my finest idea especially on an unmodified 1x30 grinder. The handle I’m in two minds whether or not to reprofile a bit or whether to see how it fits the hand of its new owner but as it stands I’m not at all sure it suits the knife 🤔

Hi Bionic.

Another nice job mate.
When you say carver......are you meaning meat carver?
If you do I reckon the proportions are spot on.
