I've looked at them too. I must admit, although I'm not veggie, I tend toward veggie when I'm camping for convenience.

I make my own breakfast mixes. I sachet of Quaker oats, handful of dried cherries and some flaked almond, or dried blueberries and coconut or dried Cranberries. A lot of dried fruit can be got for not a lot of money from supermarkets.

The only thing stopping me making the main meals, is the instant rice they use! It's readily available in USA but not here. Grrrrr and I'm not much of a fan of cous cous.
 
They normally sell freeze dried rice but are currently sold out …….
