On the road again.

Much better, bone fused and healing; bruises fading and painkiller consumption reduced. Getting some sharp muscle twinges from bruising and inactivity which are now the worst part but hopefully fully healed in a a couple of weeks; then it’s a case of building the muscles back up and getting back on my bike to conquer the hill concerned!

Just go steady matey...after screwing up my right shoulder it never properly healed and now I can't work properly above shoulder hight anymore...slowly, slowly. Patience is a virtue.

Gentlemen......can we get the post back on track please.....we seem to be drifting a little. :thumbsup: :D

Took some more photos of the van today to send off to the insurance for the agreed value.

All compounded and polished..... For a 20 year old van she came up well.

Heard back from the insurance company and happy to report that the agreed value sum has been approved.
It was worth the effort of taking the pictures and completing the paper work.

@Matt

Might be worth you having a look at the same mate?
Given the condition of your Disco and what you have invested in it.......get the agreed value payout as opposed to just the market value :thumbsup:

Very nice van, I took the plunge a few years ago first trip out was over the Bealach Ba Ba to Applecross!

Sorry @Aquilosdad .............missed this one.

Lovely van mate.....is that overhead sleeping above the cabin or have you used it for storage/both?
In the picture it looks like you have invested in the Jormax wind breaks.....no more chasing around the fields in a good blow :rofl: solid bits of kit:thumbsup:
When the current situation calms down a bit.....have you any trips planned......or in the making?
We are hoping to get a trip in to Scotland in the early Spring for a week or two.....may split it between B&B and van to give the back a rest :rolleyes::rofl:

Happy and safe Travels mate :thumbsup:
