Are you going to get some spuds on the go Mark......in tubs?
We had a go at Tomatoes a few years back now when the children were young......peat bags.....cut out the holes and stick the plants in it.
Had a few out of it......lovely they were too.
A rewarding hobby in more ways than one.....and all from your own efforts
There's nothing like home grown fresh picked veg and fruit.
They should be fine but as soon as they flower and start to form little fruits then they'll need a weekly feed of a liquid fertiliser. Something like Tomarite or and tomato feed. What ever you do do not over water themThanks joe Will fix that today mate the large green pot on the right of the picture has around 4 cucumbers planted in it , would that be ok ?
Cheers DickOurs are showing the spots on leaves. Could be "blight". We are taking the badly affected leaves off. Can't see from the picture but could be slugs attacking the stems.
It could be any one of several things, look on the underside of the leaves for any kind of infestation, as already mentioned it could be blight caused by over watering, also for cucumbers the air needs to be on the humid side so when it gets really hot you have to strike a balance between fresh air and humidity and you can achieve this by placing a bowl of water at between the plants and on the ground and opening your greenhouse so the air can circulateCheers Dick
