thought this was interesting guys. Just searching for ideas for next year and found this.

use a tyre tower instead, far simpler.

Or an old litter bin, just add earth as they grow.

or potato bags which fold up when not in use and double up as log baskets in winter.

A must admit a like the look of the tower to be honest. The wife wouldn’t want tyres or a bin If it was up to me a bin would do

We used to use tyres but the roots and potatoes get inside the tyre making them hard to separate, now I just use old feed sacks to grow new potatoes. I like the look of this tower though.
There are pallet walls available that would do the same thing, they just stack up and lock together.

funny that, I've been using tyres for 20 years and never had any problems, the rubber warms up in the sun and retains the heat. and I haven't had any occurrence of blight whilst using tyres.

I've used black bin bags for spuds, works well IMHO
