16633

16634

16635

Made a start over the past few days.
Stripped all the wood and carpet out

16636

Started putting sound deadening on the panels.

16637

Just finished insulating the floor and wood is back down.
Just ran all my electric wires in a flexy tube down full length of van.
Will be starting the wall insulation tomorrow, then I will be building the rear fixed double bed.
Should keep me busy over the next few months.

Been making my kitchen pod last few days.

Larger cupboard is under the sink and will hold 2 x 25L water jugs
smaller one is for a small gas bottle
With two draws in the centre one really deep

20190330_161227.jpg

doors and draws are fitted with soft close draw runners and hinges
with black iron on trim around them.

20190329_175840.jpg

all fitted with the push to lock type handles

Sink to be fitted tomorrow as clear varnish on top is still drying.

I can pick the whole thing up its fairly light weight.

I used 2 x 1 for main frame and top and doors are made from 18mm pine board.
Draws are 12mm ply
all painted with one coat of

then sprayed in clear matt finish varnish.
all in all a good days work and should be fitted in the van this coming week.
