Friday last saw me with a flexi day and the wife away , my origional plan was a day fishing and then a camp out , however the weather wasn’t great and after a 13 hour fishing session I decided just to head home for tea and medals ! I must have caught almost 50 fish , from skimmers to decent carp and a 2lb tench ( I need to get some scales) . At 7pm I hooked a carp that pulled my rod straight into the pond :whistle: ! After a bit of spinning I managed to hook my line and pull the whole rig in complete with a 4lb common on the end ( no pics as I was in too much of a panic ! )

Here’s some highlights of a great days fishing for a fiver , a tin of corn and a few Harrington’s dog biscuits! Certainly better than putting a shift in a work :)

It’s perfect for the pond I go to .....
you can keep your boilies and fancy baits, I put some heavy ground bait in about 10 feet out from the reeds, as soon as the water starts to muddy up its a single grain of corn on a size eight into the middle and just wait.

Nice:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Planning a trip to the loch myself:D hope it’s as successful as your trip mate:thumbsup: nice fish them
