Being an old Dinosaur I don't have a magic 'phone or use GPS, so I find maps ( and compass) are my lifeline when out and about, but this website might be of interest to others as a useful aid to pre-planning in the available areas covered by the website.

My excuse is brain fog because....
Having the annual game of Car /Bike insurance renewal...They quote..I find cheaper... They say.."Oh! we can match that"

I also use a lot of satellite images to supplement OS maps but they're rarely up to date, there are often issues with large tracts of forest having been harvested.
