Just had a mooch at a little location I spotted for possible camp ......
Suitable for bikepacking ? Looks a great spot
From a survival/prepper point of view I have always ignored the area west of Fylingdales as too militarised and far too close to a primary target, it is however one of the most beautiful and amazing places in the country to visit.
One of the most isolated spots on the Holderness plain is Spurn point. Hardly anyone visits, it has miles of beach with virtually no one on it. There are lots of Birds and wildlife (the whole of Spurn is a nature reserve). The only shop * small cafe is at the visitors centre, so bring your own food & water. It is a noted Cod fishing spot in Winter, in the Summer you can catch Bass & mackeral off the beach with spinning gear.
