Monday was a scorcher and I spent the day at 60mph, wearing protective biking gear and cooking gently when stationary....Rode out to the Coast and explored the area around Fishguard.
Staying off the main routes, away from the heavy Lorries and the last of the holiday makers. Stopping when the views became impossible to ignore.
Headed towards the hills in the distance..
Roads that are keys to a Biker's heart...
The port of Fishguard and surrounding villages are interesting..
I parked above the town peeled off my bike gear and flaked out on the grass, looking out at the Irish Sea, which was Mediterranean blue in the heat.
Yakki the Himalayan stood pinging and clicking as he cooled down too..
A great day out. 169 miles. Checked and oiled the chain, covered Yakki up and I've given him a couple of days off.
