shooting insurance

just found some scope mounts and put a spare scope on it also fitted a 3d printed barrel band

will zero it at the meet ... its an SMK victory pr9oow nice precharged 9 shot and very light

More than enough shots for hunting.....and for plinking.
It makes the SMKs nice and light. My little SMK CO2 gun is also nice and light. In the past the barrel was shortened and re crowned while the butt had additional weights giving it a great balanced feel.
…back to the main subject, did you go with Gun-plan for the insurance? It’s a good option if anyone needs to get insured to shoot before coming to the Wales meet. They give a nice neat little credit card sized insurance certificate/identification that is easy to carry in your wallet or with your written permissions.

😨 too much money burning a hole in your pockets?

And why would you make such a comment?....where and how I spend my hard earned money is up to me nothing at all to do with you or anyone else for that matter. :)
I have been with the NGO for years and more than happy with their service and product.
BASC on the other hand getting very expensive.....even for us millionaires.
Cheaper options out there.....you takes your chances.

Suit yourself Bill, as you say…it’s your money but I did go to the trouble of contacting my insurer to get an extra discount code for the forum. They’re also extremely reputable and offer the same level of insurance as the National Gamekeepers Organisation. After all is said and done they’re all underwritten by national companies.
Edit “You take your chances”…..Axa who underwrite the NGO insurance are owned by Aviva who also underwrite my insurer Gun-plan Specialist Gun and Shooting Insurance

best I go and dust off the muskets 🤔🤭

Anyone been out?
..yes, I’ve been doing quite a lot of night shooting with the .22lr since I got hold of a second hand night sight. A couple of hours late night or early morning has meant I’ve been buying a bit less dog food. We have muntjac, roe, rabbit, pheasant and pigeons roaming majestically across the place. The rats and squirrels seem to be a bit thin on the ground still but that may change as the hazel nuts ripen.

Still pay my £85 annual BASC membership, that seems to cover all options, did look at the gun plan insurance £18, seemed a bit fluffy ?
Fluffy?…how so? I found it very clear. In fact it’s much simpler than other insurers as it has no cap on earnings from shooting and the same insurance gives £10 million public liability for anything from a bow and arrow right up to .50bmg as long as the shooter (archer) is conforming to the law.
