Quick run out along the Cleveland Way (proving good recce as I’m planning to do the whole 109 miles in 2021) in the spirit of my keeping active campaign .
Only managed about 5k but glad I made the effort .....

You obviously had good weather Rob

Looks good Rob, its another walk I hadn't heard of. When I do hear about them I always fancy doing them though.
It’s the nearest to me , Osmotherly to Filey mostly along the coast .... another one by me is the Yorkshire Wolds Way , 90 odd miles Hull to Filey ....

Thought about that one , not sure I could do it within the time limit but it’s definitely one to consider at a more leisurely pace ...👍
It was years ago when I was stationed at Caterick, I often just used to walk from Osmotherly on the Lyke Wake route stay the night camped behind the White Lion at Blakey Ridge and walk back the next day

White Lion is still a significant point on the route , still does camping although was shut during lockdown ... it’s a good walk ... need to make time to give it a go ....👍
