For your viewing pleasure , we had flag cracking sunshine , thunder , lightening and heavy rain . Steaks , ale and merlot however meant we slept through it without a care in the world ......

Cheers Rob, guessed the garlic, was more wondering about the 'green stuff'. I'll give it a go, I usually marinade my steak in a bit of soya sauce, worcester sauce and balsamic vinegar with some garlic and chill. Its just evolved that way so time to try something different. Yours looked braw.

I just can't get over the venue......................just brilliant. I'm guessing walking far wasn't on the agenda?
Hopefully going to do similar with canoe later in week and cook over open fire, so won't be lightweight either!!

No , not a long walk in so an opportunity to go heavy , to be fair mostly food and drink added the weight ! We like a scoop !
Its definitely a little oasis , can be busy with walkers but still plenty of room for us to hide away
