I’m wanting to get some spoon carving done myself but my work commitments have gone through the roof today

Did have red scales but me being me, had to pimp it and make some out of chestnut

Not this week but whilst deployed to Uganda as part of a training team I carved this little piggy; don’t know what the wood was except it was local and on the ground.

Thinking of doing some more!

You're going to need another one soon at the rate you're whittling things Jon. I'm absolutely made up that you get so much pleasure from it. It looks great with the wooden scales.

Two of them placed back to back and held together at the top with a rubber band would make some nice Artisan cloths pegs Jon

Just pushed the button on a Hiker. If in a weeks time I go silent, Claire has finally snapped and killed me for buying yet another knife! And @Ystranc you can know it's your fault for suggesting it!

Sometimes simplicity is all you need. I'm just trying to improve my carving ability, maybe make a bob or two
