In late February of this year I bought a secondhand car. Straight forward deal, well as straight as any second hand car deal anyway... 
Came away with the green slip from the old log book ( V5 form ) and a photo copy of the same.
Four months + and later I'm still waiting for the new registration document in my name....Looked on Gov/uk DVLC etc: But I'm a Computer dummy so can't find a suitable section, only request for lost/replacement V5's... so I phone DVLC..." We are sorry but owing to Covid 19 much reduced staff....."
Last night I wrote to them asking where's my V5?.. I was going to post the letter today...Just got back from walkies...V5 from DVLC lying on doormat...
