Got two rows of potatoes, two of parsnip, beetroot and peas in the ground plus potted up courgettes, cucumber and runner beans in the greenhouse. Fingers crossed as it's been very wet.

Despite the misty weather I managed to replant peas where the slugs attacked, raked up the spuds and planted the runner beans out. The wife has transplanted the tomatoes and cucumbers in the greenhouse.

Potatoes, beans, beetroot courgettes, and parsnips are growing well along with tomatoes and cucumbers in the greenhouse. Peas are a disaster. I think I may have a daisy problem on the grass.

Well the raspberries have started to produce. I suppose I have to put up with them every night after tea!

I'm picking raspberries but it'll be a few weeks before I'm picking runner beans. The difference in north/south climate is showing, and when it's safe to plant out.

Our beans have been decimated by mice and voles, on the bright side Larry the cat is eating them just as fast as he can stuff them down his throat.

Third lot of blackcurrants going in the freezer. Not a bad crop this year off two bushes.

I showed your pics to my wife who is our resident horticulturalist and she was impressed!
We have soil envy, but great to see such a well set up and productive lot.
Nothing tastes like home grown.
We have produced tomatoes, cucumber, salad leaves, red Asian string beans, and a couple of tasty limes and passion fruits all in small quantities but our bananas and other citrus trees resolutely refuse to grow and produce.
Inspired by this thread we ste considering alternative strategies

Thanks Alan. We are enjoying the crops despite it not being the best of years due to the very dry month. With the light bits of rain now things are improving.

Picking just over 1.25 pounds of cultivated BlackBerries a day. Nice thornless variety growing along the fence.
