I've just read a report on an American website that Mors Kochanski has died aged 79. He had developed a particularly difficult to treat cancer, I understand. A man much admired and one who left his mark and about whom stories will long be told.
 
A wonderful man, a hero of mine, and the grandfather of modern bushcraft. Rest in the Summerlands dear soul. He will be sorely missed :(
 
He shared.......... and left behind a wealth of knowledge......a true ambassador of the outdoors....R.I.P
