Don't for get to carry a good supply of vitamin supplements in your pack. Foraging for food will can be arduous & a hit & miss situation.
Also make sure you have a good supply of personal medications, these will not last for ever, but it will keep you going for a while. Think positive, eat a healthy diet, stay active & take those supplements as needed. Vitamin D can help with depression. Fish oil capsules are a must unless you are eating plenty of fish.

Don't forget vitamin C, the most important of all. It's a good job it is in most green vegetables and fruit.
I would suggest memorizing the list of vitamin & minerals and where to find them in food, supplements will run out sooner or later.

Cabbage---has lots of vit C. Captain Cook used it in the form of sauercraut to stop his crew getting scurvey.

Our cabbage didn't "cabbage" this season. Just grew into small trees!!! Potatoes are rich in vit-C.
