Well me and the lad managed to get a day for fishing :D:D:D:D:D chuffed to bits to be honest....not really been out! Out for ages.

Nothing to extravagant just a nice trip to the loch for a few hours fishing. To be continued....

Camp set up and chilling

Then it down to a bit of knife safety before the two of us started the carving. Not entirely sure what my lad was carving but itā€™s a great way for him to practice using a knife. He only had one booboo lol a little scratch from the tip of the knife on his knee. So doctor dad cleaned it. Put a plaster on and bobs your uncle. I must say the wee man took it like a big man:cool: now letā€™s get to me with my spoon carving.! I didnā€™t get of to a great start with my mora knifes as the hook knife slipped nicely into my thumb and the other one made a few fine cuts into my hand and thumb .

The fishing wasnā€™t great  all day with nothing......until the end of the trip ;) slam goes the rod...Tyrone shouts dad the rod....as he was standing next to it :evileye: .... finally a fish lol. Cracking wee brownie. So I showed the lad how to gut and filet it then we cooked it up with a little onion salt... lovely :D
