Woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning , we normally don’t get hit bad in Whitby due to our location between moor and sea and our own little micro climate .

Couldn’t get the car off our road so had to walk into work . Turned into a lovely little bimble ........

Nothing much here so far. A wee bit of powder on the ground but forecast says it wont get above 0deg until Sunday. Only down to -5 overnight. I think maybe you're going to get it worse down south. We might need to put a jumper on. lol

Well I moved from Yorkshire to Devon when I

retired and in 5 years have only seen snow on Dartmoor. Until today! I blame the council for not paying the heating bills. Oh, and Matt for bringing it back from up north.

Bottom of the estate, all Nort East police are saying not to travel unless you have to, the A1 is blocked both directions North of Newcastle, no ploughs gritters or buses to be seen, all schools are closed, a bit of white and it grinds to a halt
