The beast from the East

They only got round to gritting round here and local motorways and a roads yesterday, it's a joke!

Good pictures guys.......terrible shame for the man and his dog :(

I drove past the park and saw It was frozen and wondered why there was no park people there with the mass of kids 10 mins later the air ambulance flew over the house. Thing is it's a boating lake with canoes etc so I wonder if he just walked on the ice and didn't get in one of the canoes or rowing boats?

Well it hit hard again last night, very few cars on the roads this morning, fewer buses and no gritters again, we're forecast blizzards later which may see all but the well driven roads close down, the Saturday trip is cancelled, a real danger to life and besides, getting in could prove impossible, most trains have stopped as well, beef casserole on the go as we speak :)

Keep safe guys, an overnighter would be good, but not worth dieing for :(

Took a few days off from normal routine, so will be buying some boats and outboards lol

A view from our CCTV at work. Most local folk got in though the roads are a mess of abandoned cars. Apparently the gritters were pulled off the road because of the red warning. lol

New red warning for the SW and wales, just been out it's getting naughty out there lots of people stuck on hills in front wheel drive cars, told a few to put it in second and put their mats under the wheels those who listened got out of trouble those who didn't are still there lol. The local authority has 2 yellow vests stationed at the park lake!
