On the banks of the Waveney.
Stunning site, on isthmus out into the river which surrounds it on 3 sides.... No buildings in site in 360 deg...…
Entry to site is where disposal, washing, water, toilets, showers, indoor kitchen all is. Biggest shower cubicle in the world!! Site has 2 excellent shower rooms and 3 toilets.
Adjacent is where all the people who need to connect to everything park or pitch...…….....
But...….follow on down and here is the wilderness area with 30 to 50 foot pitches mown into the undergrowth....and nothing more; so you won't be close to anyone. Uninterrupted views....hammocking is encouraged, as are fires in pits.
£10 per person per night; 1/2 the price of my local waterside site, Rushbanks on the Stour.
2 good pubs in walking distance, loads of wildlife, fishing, canoeing....even a foot ferry to Beccles, 40 mins to an hour away on the river.
