Theraband gold from game keeper John on ebay, he sells them for about £4. Had the for a while, I'll see if I can find the link........

If only beating children was allowed!!!! No its the basis of a sharpening strop, just haven't had the chance to do it yet.........hence the child comment!!!!!

Jigsaw and a sander speeds the job up, but not quite as satisfying as doing it by hand.

I'd never want to beat my child or missus. I'm sure all parents know that kids have the ability to wind you up to the point where you could quite cheerfully kick the crap out of them, but you don't do it.
My missus doesn't need tips, she's already more than capable!

Still lots to do. Salad has come up in the cold frame, but nothing else yet. Planted a few young trees in the border between the patio and lawn but that's it so far
