Never grown pumpkins before, especially using seeds from a supermarket bought pumpkin! Happens to be from India's first Halloween pumpkin 2 years ago! I will keep the seeds from these and try again next year

Biggest one weighs 5lb 11oz
Smaller one is 4lb 7oz
Both came off the vine green but finished them off in the warm porch. Don't know if this is normal practice, having never grown them before, but for an experiment im happy with the results!

They may not be as sweet as they would otherwise have been if they were ripened on the plant but since there are a lot of different varieties it's hard to predict what you will get from unknown seeds. They look brilliant, are you going to carve one for Halloween?
The little blue ones that we grow are a variety called "crown prince" and they're very good eating.
