UK Knife laws

Perhaps things must be taken on merit when we head off somewhere wild, people viewing the equipment we carry and the clothing we wear can see a mile off that we’re not the kind of folks that go off into the woods with a huge bag of lager a massive barbecue and an Aldi 4 quid tent. However what is the difference in law, how may of us have harvested A few plants and built a fire on someone’s land.
Why should a club shooter involved in competition shooting and owing a £2000 plus rifle have to pay the price of a drug addled Ned who won’t hand his rifle but hide it away for the future,an air rifle is an air rifle and the law abiding shooter buys his cert.

I think quite a lot were sold south of the border. There is an active market (not by RFDs) in second hand air guns at boot fairs and flea markets. Not necessarily legal but tolerated.
