We get a lot of slow worms here, also frogs, newts and sand lizards. They used to be everywhere when I was a kid, these days they're rare enough to need protection for them and their habitat.

Thats a beauty. Was gonna say it looks like a lizard to me - then I read comments in the thread. I didnt realise they had these gorgeous things in Uk. I recall you live in the south Divebuddy. Its in your glass house for warmth...

Over here we have one very similar, different colour called a 'legaless', geddit?
