Hi this morning was sunny with a slight chill in the breeze. So warmish kit on and out I went for a walk around the grounds of Auckland Castle.
First stop was a cuppa and a sandwich sitting beside a Pyramidal obelisk which conceals a walk head, which was part of the 18th century water system.
The next set of pictures are of the Gothic Deer House built in 1760 to feed and give shelter to the castles deer.
Following down from the deer House is the outer walls of Auckland Castle which are being renovated. Then you have the entrance to Auckland Castle and along from the there the clock tower gate House.
A pleasant morning walk and hopefully some pictures for you to enjoy.
