Guys im looking for a water pump to pump the water from the swimming pool through some tubing (which is black ) along the fence line of the garden so it heats the water for the pool ... aprox 100ft long
the pump will need to be a stand alone setup ie not submersible ... it will need to lift the water around 12ft ..... anyone got experience in this field ????

what do i need ?

Might be worth a call to them and explain pipe length and bore..... distances to be pumped...... pool volume and flow rate required?

A standard central heating pump will easily lift water 4 meters in a closed circuit, they vary a lot in price but you can pick them up quite cheap (scrap value) from someone who does plumbing/repacment boilers. It won't matter if it's a little noisey but it will need to be kept dry and out of the weather. Old radiators flushed out and sprayed matt black make great solar collectors meaning that you can get a lot more heat into it.
