After buying a couple of hatchets at a fair last weekend I finally got around to reading the label, a Gränfors Bruk hatchet that pre dates when they became the last word in trendy bushcraft accessories and were just tools.
It has a nice original handle but it's let down by the fact it's resin mounted. I'm sure it's seen very little use because it still has the original paper label.

Please do, I'm very Forth crossings 'adjacent'. If its allowed I'll even put the kettle on although I can rustle up a camping stove at short notice. ;)
