Why did I plant some spuds!!!

The field you can see behind the newly planted courgettes is going to full of spuds soon!!! (so i nicked some soil). And I planted a pair of pear tress a few years back look like some fruit this year!.

Potato recipes if you please!

Beautiful pear trees that you've planted, it's a pity that the farmer has seen fit to plough right up to that tree in the background, that is one of my pet hates. It destroys the fine surface roots that the tree depends on to absorb nutrients from the topsoil.
