Recently I’ve got back in to whittling again and I’ve been using a homemade straight edged knife I made a while back and despite being reasonably happy with it I fancied something with a bit more of a curve and a tighter point for those more awkward, intricate areas. Initially I thought of buying a Mora 120 but now I’ve put together a pretty adequate workshop I thought it would be more satisfying to go homebrew again.
This knife is made using O1 steel with a hidden tang. The handle is a laminate of offcuts of yew sandwiching rosewood with carbon fibre pins to aid the security of the blade.

I appreciate the compliment but I honestly don’t think they’re of a saleable standard yet but saying that I’ll never be 100% happy with my own work
