Dieseling Air Rifle

i don't think the chairman of our gun club would recommend it!:pin fact I know he wouldn't.

Putting a volatile oil behind the pellet makes a satisfying noise but plays hell with ranging accuracy. Your shots will be going all over the place.....and don't forget that you're sacrificing an air rifles great strength, near silence.

The effective range of an air rifle as a hunting weapon is the range at which it becomes impossible to accurately hit a small target with a degree of certainty; deliberately causing one to diesel surely makes accuracy inconsistent and therefore affects the use of it as a hunting tool.
