Decided to make a little vid for the ytube channel, as am board oot ma trumpet most if not all of yous guys will know the drill for making these, as it’s my first time making these i thought I would share lol

Nice demo and video mark......they are so worth having when its all against you....and will in most cases save the day
Only thing I would add to that is a drop of Lamp Oil into the molten wax....and stir.... before dipping the pads
In the amount of wax you melted in the video I would have added two teaspoon fulls

All advice is welcome bill and as it’s my first time , tweaking the recipe as you suggested sounds good to me, a don’t have lamp oil so will have to get some. Any hoo a need time in the shed away from these lot so way not

I have an old soup can which I stick on the hob and melt the candles in that rather than messing up a pot. Think I got about 30 biscuits out of 3/4 a can of melt last time.

When adding the lamp oil make sure the naked flame is turned off. The fumes generated when the oil is added to the hot wax are highly flammable. I dip the pads with a pair of tweezers and after draining the excess wax, lay them on aluminium foil to cool.

I needed to pluck up courage to post this...Now the pink Fire Biscuits I made....I just happened to have some old semi burnt out candles..honest...I don't normally do pink......Honest.

I will try the lamp oil booster next time too...

Pink is ok. I made a batch with red and white candles mixed. Thought they looked more professional.
