Jetboil mod ......

I like my jetboil but occasionally I might want to use a different cooking pot or a frying pan . Jetboil sell a stabiliser and simmer ring but it’s costly , I bought a Chinese clone stabiliser and some wire mesh and made my own simmer ring , works well and cost next to nothing . All fits inside jetboil .

highlander, Gelert and lots of other manufacturers also make the stabilisers; very good for using with the titaniummicro stoves and small canisters as they can end up talll and thin.

Cheers , that's exactly the problem with the jet boil ..........

Part if the problem is you can only fit the small canisters in the pan (which also works out an expensive way of buying gas).

I've got an alpkit brukit which is a bigger pot and therefore takes a wider cylinder giving more stability. Also about half the price!
