Went on our September wildcamp at the weekend. We chose another favourite spot but hadn't camped there before. The cave is between Hopeman and Lossiemouth and is only accessible at low tide so we had to go early afternoon. I carried plenty of water for my daughter and myself and it was hard walking with a heavy pack and wet stones.
I had a back up location if there was anyone else was there before us, but we got it to ourselves.

There was just enough room to get the tent up outside the cave. Then I found loads of driftwood after I had carried a bag from home in case there wasn't any.
After a quick dip, I started cooking chicken fajitas with rice then got the fire on and enjoyed the weather and views with a couple of beers.
After a great sleep, the tide was in so cooked fry up and had coffee before packing up leaving no trace and walking out using some wet steps to climb out.
We then walked the just over 2 miles to Hopeman to get picked up both of us agreeing it was the best camp this year.
