Winter shakedown ....

A quick socially distanced 2 nighter (appropriate PPE and local Covid guidance followed throughout ) with @Bopdude at our local wild camp site .....

We both needed some fresh air and wanted to give our winter hammock set ups and some stove options a try out .

Temperatures were quite warm with light rain throughout, communal tarp and fire pit were essential .

All in all a good workout of our kit , too much food taken as usual and some ideas to prevent duplication for Scotland trip plus we got to spend the weekend in the woods .

We didn’t I’m afraid it seemed very wet and wasn’t sticky or anything ... maybe we messed up there
