Certainly did on a fly rod, thought I had a 20lb rainbow ( I should be so lucky)

Your line on the fly has to be better than the 5lb BS leader that I use

I use a 6lb leader, that fish just took off, had to let it run luckily in quite open space, only 4 of us on the lake, able to walk with it keeping the tension on took me nearly 40min before it was ready for the net.

To all those guys that posted multiple pictures of beautiful fish that they’d caught and I was only able to give one like for the lot…sorry, them‘s the breaks. I think there have been some real crackers, especially the little Jamaican fishies wtf they were.
