While there was frost on the cars earlier it has been a beautiful morning so far, the air is full of sunshine and birdsong. The grass is greening up and the blossom is opening. The hawthorn smells fabulous already.

morning folks.....still lots of snow on hills in in the North,having a wee overnighter with grandson in french army tent tonight...he doesn't know that yet..going down to -3...his first wild camp with grandad....poor wee soul...hope I don't burst his stitching....
