Honestly thought I was on Santa's too skint list this year, But Mrs D surprised me with these!

A new DD camping hammock, an Alpkit folding spork and a set of Alpkit alipots! Well chuffed with them!

miss,s got me a new pair trousers a few pairs of warm socks and some water proof gloves for the trip north ....

just got back from my parents house

got an oil lamp like the 1 i got kneef with a bottle of lamp oil
a few pairs of ski socks
some new thermals
and a new cup

I'm pleased to say that I've received a nice Daks leather jacket and a contribution to a Mec 600 jnr. reloader. Absolutely zero plastic involved. Merry Christmas everyone.

Oh did I hit the jackpot
I got a new sewing machine, a lodge combo cooker and some pasta bowls to match my dinner service. Well chuffed.
I can now send my mum's sewing machine off to be serviced and have a hand crank fitted.

My son has about as much interest in the outdoors as he has in Tapestry weaving, and I'm sure would suffer palpitations and be gripped by panic attacks if he found himself more than a few yards from a mains power USB socket. I was therefore surprised a few months ago when he started asking me questions about 'Bushcraft' knives. I told him I didn't own what is generally accepted as a Bushcraft style knife, so I was really surprised and pleased to get this as gift when he visited the other day.
