After a damp night it's turned into quite a nice morning here now. The lull before the storm perhaps, that's if it happens at all, mind you it could be like the latest promise of the Beast From The East that never happened
 
Willow and ash...yum yum. Though these seem to love young blackthorn and green brambles best of all, probably because the buds are just opening.

Morning folks, All Quiet On The Western Front after the last 24 hours, my heart goes out to the folks in central Yorkshire which got hit very hard. Phenomenal photos on the news, not least the Hastings life boat doing about a hundred degree roll and the tree coming down between a bus and a taxi. Hope you all stayed stayed safe through the chaos

It was a beautiful morning right up until the first hail storm hit us. Sid the foster dog was unimpressed and has returned to his bed.
